Once again, the most powerful and technologically advanced electric motorcycle in the world that gives endothermic motorcycles a run for their money. All this, with 0 emissions.

Energica unveils the new EMCE motor and inverter, a significant step forward in the electric propulsion of motorcycles. EMCE is a completely new HSM (Hybrid Synchronous Motor) co-engineered exclusively by Energica and Mavel.
The motor and inverter now share a liquid cooling system, resulting in a simpler and more effective design with reduced size and improved thermal efficiency. Motorcyclists will appreciate the incredible benefits: it's lighter with a lower center of gravity, ensuring greater agility, higher peak performance, increased range, especially at higher speeds, and significantly reduced maintenance intervals.
TYPE | HSM (Hybrid Synchronous Motor) Three-phase liquid-cooled – 300 V – 12,000 RPM with adaptive control inverter |
ADAPTIVE CONTROL | Since the motor and inverter are developed in tandem, the inverter can provide adaptive control. This means it can select the right control parameters as performance requirements change: the torque demanded by the vehicle, motor speed, the system's operating mode, temperature, and other factors identifying the operating state of the powertrain. Adaptive control ensures that the inverter can always run the system as efficiently as possible while extending the system's operational limits. |
WEIGHT | The motor and inverter are 10 kg lighter and achieve, among other things, better thermal efficiency and more power, reducing the weight of the EGO+ to 260 kg. The bike's maneuverability is improved as the reduced size also ensures lower motor inertia. |
POWER | The continuous power output of the motor is slightly above 149 HP/110 kW, but the peak power increases significantly to 171 HP/126 kW. Combine it with the higher acceleration of the RS version and you get a motorcycle with superior performance, both on the road and on the track. |
RANGE | The reduction in weight significantly contributes to increased range at any speed. The greater efficiency of the EMCE motor reduces the motor's temperature. At lower speeds, the range increases by 5% to 10% depending on your driving style. |
MAINTENANCE | Fewer moving parts meant less maintenance compared to internal combustion motorcycles. In the past, maintenance was required after 10,000 km. Not anymore. The transmission oil now only needs to be changed every 30,000 km, with the motor/inverter cooling fluid changed every 45,000 km. Now you're free to ride without (almost) having to worry about maintenance. |
RIDING MODES | Four driving modes: Eco, Standard, Wet, Sport Four levels of regenerative braking: Low, Medium, High, Off |
DASHBOARD | Cobo, 4.3-inch color TFT screen, WQYGA 480×272 – 16.7 million colors with active matrix. 9 Alarm indicator lights; 6 + 6 current consumption indicator lights; external brightness sensor; Real Time Clock. |
VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT | The vehicle is controlled by a Vehicle Control Unit that implements an adaptive multi-map energy and motor power management algorithm. It is also capable of constantly monitoring the battery's status, even when the vehicle is off and the key is removed. Implementation of a new mapping and parameterization dedicated to the RS version to emphasize the performance and excitement derived from Energica's racing experience. |
TRACTION CONTROL | Six-level traction control that can be disengaged, complementing the existing traction control / engine brake anti-slip control (eABS) and Bosch ABS. |
CRUISE CONTROL | Sophisticated cruise control system that uses electric braking to maintain speed and increase energy during braking. |
PARK ASSISTANT | Forward and reverse (Low speed) |
MAXIMUM SPEED | Limited to 240 km/h |
ACCELERATION | EGO+ 0-100 km/h: 2.8 sec EGO+ RS Version 0-100 km/h: 2.6 sec |
